What we call "Tone of Voice" is precisely the resource that allows you to train the AI to understand the language, style, and personality of your brand. It’s like teaching Tess to speak your company's language.

The first step is to identify the desired tone for your brand, at least for the moment being addressed. Formal, informal, technical, fun, serious? We even have templates on our platform that can do this for you, as you can vary your communication depending on the moment!

This definition will be the foundation for training the AI. Next, we recommend sharing with Tess texts that exemplify the tone you defined. Use social media posts, marketing emails, advertising campaign texts... Tess will learn from your examples and, from there, generate texts that perfectly fit your brand's identity. The training is done using the "Knowledge Base" feature, which we will discuss next.

Knowledge Base: Training the AI with Context

Tess AI's Knowledge Base allows you to feed the AIs with relevant information for what you want to create. The possibilities range from audio files to websites, PDFs, and spreadsheets.

An interesting use case that has become more common is training an AI with information about your company, its products, services, values, and internal procedures. This knowledge base serves as a guide for the AI, enabling it to generate more accurate, relevant, and contextualized content.

If you need to use larger documents, we also have the RAG function, which allows you to attach substantial documents that your company may need. For example, your brand guide that could be a 100-page document? Just apply it!

Thus, Tess will analyze the information and learn about your company, processes, and values. With this base, you and your team will have not only an assistant for content creation but also a source of information about the company for any questions or needs.

And how does this work in practice?

To illustrate better, let’s present a case that we applied internally here at Pareto. As a startup, with constant evolutions in our platform, internal flows, and processes, our team had the idea to create an assistant for "Paretlers," through which employees can search for information, validate doubts, and even understand our corporate structure.

In this specific case, the template is for chat, and users can converse with the AI, refine commands, and ask a series of questions. Besides the practicality offered to the company members, who can use the template quickly, the workspace owners can add (or remove) content from the Knowledge Base whenever necessary, making the model increasingly up-to-date.
