What are tokens?

Tokens are units of measurement that represent computational resources used by AI models. In the context of generating images, videos, and texts, tokens typically represent the number of words, characters, or pixels involved in a task. On average, we can say that 100 tokens are approximately 75 words.

How are my tokens counted?

The counting of tokens varies depending on the Tess AI (text, image, or video) and the settings of the template you are using. Each action you take, such as generating an image or creating a video, consumes your image tokens. Similarly, each action you take to compose a text, build code, or transcribe audio consumes word tokens, which will vary based on the complexity of the task.

You can check how many tokens were used for each request in the "Used Tokens" column of the "Analytics" panel.

What determines how many tokens are consumed per template?

The number of tokens consumed per template is generally determined by the complexity and size of the template itself. More complex templates that require more processing and computational resources to generate the desired results tend to consume more tokens. Additionally, the parameters that need to be filled in by the user, as well as the number of repetitions and the word count of the output, influence the number of tokens required for its use.

Where are audio tokens deducted from?

Audio tokens are deducted from the total word token limit available for your account on the platform since Tess assists in transcribing these audios into text.

Does the image size affect token consumption?

No, the Tess AI will deduct only one token per generated image, regardless of the pixel count. To choose the dimension settings for the images to be generated, simply select the advanced settings for Tess Images.

What is the token ratio for videos?

1 creative credit per second of video.

Does the number of chosen images affect token consumption?

Yes, the number of chosen images is exactly the number of tokens that will be consumed. To choose the quantity of images to be generated, simply select the advanced settings for Tess Images.

Can I purchase extra tokens?

Certainly! It is available on the upgrade page. Simply access the prepaid option, and you will be able to purchase text and image packages.

What happens if I want to change my plan in the middle of the month?

The policy for changing plans in the middle of the month involves a pro-rata charge. This means that if you choose a larger plan, an additional charge will be made until the end of the billing cycle. If you choose a smaller plan, you will receive a discount on the next invoice.

How do I transcribe my audios?

To transcribe audios and videos, you can use Tess for Transcriptions. In this service, you can upload an audio file of up to 100 MB in formats such as mp3, mp4, mpeg, mpga, m4a, wav, or webm. In addition to literal transcription, you can also opt for a summary of the transcription.

How do I create a custom template?

The creation of a custom template is currently restricted to the Tess AI team, which seeks the best market solutions for you. If you have ideas for new use cases that Tess can assist you with in your daily life, simply contact the platform's support to register your suggestion.

What is the difference between the creativity levels?

The creativity levels of Tess represent its ability to generate responses or produce content with different degrees of originality and diversity. Currently, Tess has 4 levels of creativity from lowest to highest: Economic, Average, Good, Premium.

Higher levels of creativity allow Tess to generate more innovative and unconventional results, giving Tess the freedom to create part of the content in the response. Lower levels tend to produce more predictable and conventional responses (Analytical and Low Creative), which do not deviate much from what was requested.

What is the difference between Tess's tones of voice?

Tess's tones of voice can represent different styles, nuances, and characteristics of the generated text. The tones of voice can range from more formal and professional tones to more friendly and conversational tones. The difference between the tones of voice allows for personalizing the way text responses are generated to better suit the context and desired purpose. Currently, Tess has 12 Tones of Voice to choose from, including formal, casual, and other variations.

Can I download the generated responses?

The availability to download the responses may depend on the platform you are using the service on. Some platforms allow you to download the generated responses in different formats such as audio, text, or image, while others may limit access only to viewing or using within the platform itself. Check the available download options on the specific platform you are working with.

Where can I find the saved texts?

Usually, saved texts can be accessed through your account on the AI integration platform. Look for sections like "My Texts," "Saved Texts," or something similar. These sections typically display a list of the texts you have saved, allowing you to view, edit, or download them, depending on the available options on the platform.

I requested an image, and the AI provided it in another language?

The AI can generate responses in different languages based on the request and the provided settings. If you requested an image and the generated response is in another language, it may be that the AI interpreted the request or some element related to the image in a way that resulted in a response in another language. Check if the request was clear and if the language settings are correctly defined on the platform to avoid undesired language results.

What does the "number of results" field mean?

The "number of results" field refers to the quantity of results or responses you want to obtain when making a request to Tess. For example, when requesting the generation of images or texts, you can specify the desired number of results that Tess should generate. This allows you to get a variety of options to choose from and evaluate among the produced results which one best suits your case.

Why is the Favorites section empty?

The Favorites section will show your most important templates. It may be that you have not added any items as favorites yet, so it may appear empty. To add a template to favorites, simply go to the "Tess Templates" section and mark the items you want to access frequently with a star.

What is the maximum allowed word length?

The maximum allowed word length is 2000 words per template. This is a parameter that can be defined by the user and is directly related to the number of tokens consumed by the request. On average, we can say that 100 tokens are approximately 75 words. Thus, the higher the maximum number of words defined, the more tokens will be consumed.

What is the difference between Tess AI and Chat GPT?

Tess AI is well-trained in the best practices of using and communicating with AI APIs in general. For example, a chat GPT AI has been last trained in 2021 and will search any base without knowing if we are dealing with best practices or not. However, if we curate the best practices, training the tool to ensure that it provides the best possible response, we can guarantee that our responses will be much more comprehensive, accurate, and reliable than a simple search. Can similar answers be achieved? Depending on the case, it is possible, but after conducting extensive research or some training due to the randomness of the base. Thus, you would need to conduct research, train, provide information, in other words, in the end, it is more laborious because it would be much better to do the entire study on the internet. Since Tess has already done the study, digested it, and passed it on to its intelligence, it is easier!
Furthermore, considering that in chat GPT, we cannot do several things, such as web scraping, reading a YouTube video, summarizing a YouTube video, transcribing audios, etc. These are some things that can make this comparison, besides the fact that in most cases, using the 4, you will pay at least R$100 per month to use.
Oh, and there's one more thing, besides all the templates being trained, they are easy and just one click away, while chat GPT does not have a productivity area!
